I have completed the process of editing and uploading the photos I took testerday. I will provide a link to my "Walters Family Photos", and will hopefully be able to add more pictures and especially some old pictures soon. The site where I store photos online employs a very simple way to order prints by credit or debit card. They do a fine job of printing, and delivery is efficient as well. I run a commercial photography business from my site, but all family photos are available at cost which is as cheap as $.19 for a glossy 4x6. The only thing that adds to the cost is shipping, so I have found that it is better to order in bunches rather than piecemeal because the shipping charges often are the same whether I am receiving one print or twenty. I will also enable you to download full resolution files to print however you like. There is a clickable link that you will see under any open photo that says "save photo"....and that will get you the original file. I would caution against ordering anything larger than a 4x6 or 5x7 of any old scanned photographs. I scan at 300dpi. This resolution is perfect for printing an image the exact same size as the original...and keeps file sizes managable, but does not play very nice if you try to enlarge. Any newer photos are fine at any size. If anyone has trouble getting what they want from the gallery just shoot me an email, and I will try to get you fixed up. I also want to share some information. When Kim's grandmother died, all of the photographs dissappeared. It was heartbreaking for me to see what was left of that history handed to my wife in a letter sized envelope with only 10 or so photographs inside. Family history belongs to everyone from the aged to the very youngest child. That said, I urge any of you to do everything you can to preserve your family's old photographs and important documents. Most flat bed type scanners on the market these days are plenty good enough. Even the all-in-one type print/copy/scanners are of sufficient quality to do a very good job. The cost is really negligable. My all in one costs less than $200, but that is a small price to pay for the ability to preserve in some fashion every single family photo that we have. It is a big job sitting for hours on end scanning photos, but one that is well worth the effort. It is also of great importance to get your parents to go through their old photos and at the very least write the names of the people and places on the back of the photograph. Don't wait until no one can remember those faces and names!!!

Lastly. I noticed as I paged through my pictures from yesterday that everyone was smiling and having a good time. Except for the fancy clothes, it appears as though we were all having a ball, as we routinely do. Even MoMo's sisters were cutting up. I am positively sure that had MoMo been sitting among us, she would have been cutting up and laughing as well.
